Our email dated 24 April 2025 with heading, NOTICE ON MEMBERSHIP FEE ADJUSTMENT, is hereby withdrawn, following the Cape High Court’s verdict to suspend the VAT increase. 

Please only pay annual membership fees as per normal on your joining month as indicated below (VAT included):

Junior members (12 - 20 no entry fee) – R230.00 per annum (VAT Included)

Regular members (21 – 59) (+entry fee) – R410.00 per annum (VAT Included)

Entry fee – Regular members – R410.00 + R250-.00 – once off (VAT Included)

Senior members (>60 no entry fee) – R300.00 per annum (VAT Included)

Those members who had already paid an additional R5-00 to cover for the VAT increase, will receive one-month additional membership.  If for instance you joined in February, your annual membership renewal month will be moved to March (joined in May - membership renewal month moved to June).

If you would, however, want to be refunded the R5.00 which you might have paid, we shall do so.  Please send an email to that effect to [email protected] with your banking details please.

We really regret this to-and-fro on the VAT issue caused by situations totally outside our control
